We Are Home

Hey, everybody! We made it home in time to tuck our kids in bed tonight. So glad to be home...and so thankful that our house was peaceful and prayed over while we were gone. The kids were so happy and at rest.

There is so much to share - about the trip, and the Lord, and life, and family, and so on. But for the life of me, I cannot stop myself from saying the following things...

1. For the first time ever, we have a 100% talented top 6 on American Idol. High five.
2. I didn't think the two David's were as good as the judges said.
3. I thought Carly, Brooke and Syesha were better than the judges said.

Hopefully I will be live-blogging during the show next Tuesday.

That's all I have for this highly spiritual, uplifting and informative post. Good night!

TC

My man missed his flight today in England and is stuck there for one more day. Ugh!

Those photos of you and Angela were awesome. It looks like you y'all had a blast.

Did you see where the AI contestants sang "Shout to the Lord" for a second time on the results show last week and put the name of Jesus back in it?

There's NO place like home!!!!!
Love all over them babies of yours!!

I have never seen a more talented top 6 on Idol before this season. I truly will be so sad to see each one of them go home each week!

Who do you think is gonna win it???

glad you guys had a safe and awesome trip!!
talked to your sweet and excited sister yesterday..next weekend...wow, can you believe it?!?!

and the whole time you were gone i was thinking about how i've been asked a million times if i was named after a beatles song because my name is abby lane...abby road/penny lane...thus the confusion. i should have just gone along with it...i might have been a little bit cooler..

Welcome Home! It's always good to get away but even better to come back home!
I wasn't surprised that Kristi went home. I think next week should be fun to watch. I still think David Cook has the best chance to win.
I like the top 6!
Have a great weekend. God is blessing Nashville with beautiful weather and I have a sunburn on my arms to prove it. :o) Ouch!

So glad you are back in the states! I'm tagging you for a MEME on my blog and hope you'll take me up on the offer. It is something good for all of us to think on...6 unimportant "things."
Blessings on you and your family!
