Sibling Encouragement

Well, my sweet little girl tried. She put an encouraging note on her little bRother's bulletin board.

But maybe she was more honest than she ever meant to be...

PRECIOUS!

I've know a few "Good Bothers" in my day, too! :)

She's so sweet...just like her mother! :)

Blessings,
Dori

Can we get one of those signed B&W pictures?

We think that would be very fancy.

And we would like to put it next to our television. With some candles around it.

This is so hilarious! LOL
I will still never forget the stories of Lily Kate not saying that in Jesus' Name...NO she was not brushing her teeth. Or the being a blessing equals new shoes story. That was hilarious!!

That is so very cute! I never had a good bother, only sisters. I would have loved a brother.

I like Boomama's comment, very funny!

I can relate to Miss Lily Kate - I have 2 'bothers' myself :)

How sweet that your son has a pic of you on his bulletin board. My youngest daugher (2) has a pic of my husband on hers, but won't allow one of me or her sister.

She's indeed a prophet.

It makes me think of Pooh Bear's statement, "Oh Bother!"

Bless that sweet lil' girl--may she continually find the good in all people.

That's so weird. Caroline has an autographed picture of P on her bulletin board.

Kids are so stinkin' funny!!! About a year ago, my 7 year old told someone the following..."I want Jesus to come live in my heart but my mommy won't let him." As you may well guess, I got the mother of the year award for that one!!! Fast forward a year...just this past Sun. night she asked Jesus into her heart...absolutely precious moment. The next morning, I asked her what she wanted for breakfast...her reply was this..."Ummm, I think I will have some Christian waffles."

Love it! No bothers for me either, only a sister, who until recently would fall into the bother category! =) Smiles for you today!

also a girl with 2 bothers, and oh boy, out of the mouths of babes, I tell you! :)

(not to mention the 3 boys of mine, who I'm sure would heartily agree that they have bothers of their own!)

Laughing...

Kids always give the best material. While leading worship last year I had to type up a last minute power point slide.
Should have said
I may have doubts and fears, my eyes be filled with tears...

I typed...
"my eyes be filled with rears"

Dear Lord... they were laughing and I was thinking ... I'm so glad I dug this old song out of the book. Later I had to apologize and make sure everyone knew it MY fault. Nice.

I'll leave leading worship to the professionals!

It's like that Baby Blues cartoon where the card reads, "Mommy is the BEAST."

Snnnnnerrrrrrrkkkkkkk.

We have a house full of three bothers who simply choose to sign one another with a frog to the arm.

Love our photo on the bulletin board! The one on my daughter's of me is a very lovely stickwoman with outrageously large shoes. My girl clearly has her priorities in order...:)

That is one sweet girl. I'm sure she's well taken care of by her two brothers.

You think he'll try to sell that on e-bay once he's older and strapped for cash? JUST KIDDING....

What did you think of Dolly's song on Idol Wednesday night? Pretty cool huh? AND the Clark Brothers....I'm sure Simon didn't "get" the whole night. We had church during Idol. :)

Love it! My daughter would probably write a similar note to her 2 bothers ;)

Oh my word. I just spit latte all over myself, I laughed so hard. Check your blog frequently and usually do this to myself while reading...maybe I need to avoid drinking and reading at the same time. :)
