I Haven't Watched Yet

Wahhhhh. I couldn't live-blog A.I. tonight because I am still in a writing meeting. My two co-writers and I have been working on an Easter musical all day...I thought I would be home by now...but alas, I am not.

I used the word ALAS because it's in an Easter hymn...and I am so all about the Eatser hymn at this moment.

WERE YOU THERE when the show was on tonight? (Get it? get it?)

ALAS...I must return to writing. I will be blogging soon. Have a good night!

Well...how marvelous! How wonderful!

"Alas and did my Savior bleed? And did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head, for sinners such as I?"

Hope this Easter music is avaiable for sinners such as I!
Blessings on you and your fam,
holly

Hey Travis,

Your new website is really great! Hope you do some more video blogs in the future. The girls and I are really looking forward to seeing you in the big city of AsheVegas in a couple of weeks.

Have some wonderful news...both my girls, Rebekah and Abigail, got Baptized this past Sunday. It was so beautiful and precious! Their godfather who is a Pastor, along with my husband, did the Baptizing. The funny thing is after we left Church, Abigail said she wanted to do a cannonball into the water so bad. I wonder if she has been reading your blog? :o)

Have a blessed day recording.

We were at my son's school program last night during AI, but strangely (considering the previous weeks of the snore-fest that is AI this season) I do not feel that I have missed anything. I probably wont even tune in tonight as we eat our regular WEdnesday night after church meal of double cheeseburgers and fries from Mcdonalds.

Well...I wish I had recorded AI so I could just fast forward everything but David A. and Syesha.

Christmas in April, Easter in May....don't think my mind could handle it!!! I'd be so confused. :)

Travis,
I listend to the Big Boo cast today and I must say you melted my heart when you started singing Neil Diamond. I think at some pointyou should do an album of nothing but covers of Neil Diamond. Big Mama would love you even more.

You singing Neil Diamond is stinkin' hilarious. Thanks for that.

Alas Travis, I am an AI fan vicariously through you. I stop by and see what's happening on the favorite show I never get to watch anymore. I saw (on Yahoo!)that the long haired guitar player bombed...and just knew you'd have something to say about that, so I wanted to get the real scoop from the true AI commentator. Good to hear you have your priorities straight and didn't ditch your co-workers and the Easter project to watch AI. Good choice. I applaud you. And I will check back soon because I can't imagine you won't have something to say about last night's show. ;-)

Travis,

My husband has this serial drama habit that keeps me from watching AI when it is on. (Last week he worked like 36 hours straight and fell asleep allowing me to watch...just in case... you wanted to know or something like that.)

Oh, and I keep forgetting I have DVR now. I will record tonight while I am off with the girls at church. Looking forward to your review. I also heard that the proverbial underdog was terribly shown up last night... but that would be a spoiler wouldn't it?

Love the dropping hints and Holly's Hymnal reply...

Congrats also to Cindy on the baptism of her children.

Love to all you Cottrell Folk... especially Angela and the kids since they share you with women like me at LPL events! Blessings.

Kind of off topic, but I’m working this morning and someone e-mailed me and said, “You HAVE to listen to the Big Boo Podcast while you are working.” I’ve never listened to a Big Boo Podcast because those girls scare me! :) I’m kidding. Just haven’t done it. Well, I just finished listening and I have one request:

I have The Jazz Singer album and I really would like for you to autograph it! :)

Dori

If this music thing doesn’t work out for you, you could always do impressions like Rich Little.

Hi Travis,
I am listening to the podcast laughing at your Neil Diamond bursts of song :)

Keep it up :)

Please tell Angela, Happy Birthday and Happy Mother's Day on Sunday!

Praying blessings over your family from Colorado.

PS If I put my request in early, do you think you could sing, "Our Heart" at the Siesta Fiesta? It is my very favorite song of yours! Makes me wanna go out and tell the whole world about Jesus. Mm Hmmm.

I'm with Holly...sing for us...however, just sing anything at SF---just open your mouth and God will fill it with HIMSELF--Psalm 81:10. Cannot wait!

I have to say that when I read your post, I actually thought maybe Easter was coming up and I was missing it big time. I've gone to work full-time for first time in my life and I am scrambling how to do it! Double take over here. Whew! I sighed, it's Mother's Day and Memorial Day coming up not Easter. Whew! I think you will treat your wife with strength and dignity tomorrow for you so honor her and your beautiful God. Happy Mother's Day to Angela who is building a beautiful legacy for her God!

PS - Your word verifications are the hardest ones I've seen. Are you like top secret??

Okay, I just listened to your podcast and I'm still laughing!! Are you sure you guys weren't friends in a previous life? Oh my! Just listening to the southern accents is enough to send this northern girl over the edge, but when you all start laughing. . . well, it's contagious.

Now back to the serious "academic" world of grading papers.

Profbaugh, Out.
