Today's Ornament Of The Day comes to you courtesy of my childhood. I didn't own this ornament when I was a kid. But it's from my favorite childhood book, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. I always loved this book. I even wrote a song in one of my theory classes in college with the lyrics (a song you will never hear, by the way).
My wife and kids all love it, too.
From there to here, from here to there,
funny things are everywhere.
A wise doc is he. :-)

I JUST sang my own rendition of that song 15 minutes ago to my four year old! I'm sure the tune was different, but the lyrics were the same.
oh please lets hear it!!!
love it....also love the "music" paper garland!
"a song you will never hear by the way." LOL
"Did you ever fly a kite in bed? Did you ever walk with ten cats on your head?"
Love that book. Mucho.
LOVE that ornament! But my favorite Dr. Seuss is "Hands, hands, fingers, thumb...dum ditty dum ditty dum dum dum..."
Just sayin'!
Dori
Eh hem...I think we need to hear the song now ;)
I agree, we NEED to hear that song.
"My shoe is off, my foot is cold, and now my story is all told." Read a thousand times to my children, "One Fish..." is now the favorite of my grand-daughter. (I quote those line quite often!)
While I do love red fish blue fish, I also loved ten apples up on top... My mom would read that many times in a row and I would cheer for ten apples
everytime like it was the first time hearing the story!!! Love your ornament... What great memories!
