I love this little boy...
This was today's outfit. Just a day at home. And the backpack weighed at least 40 lbs., filled with evey action figure and Hot Wheels car within a 5 mile radius. He carried it around the house all day. If only I had gotten such a workout today.
And no outfit is complete without a Batman cape.

this is so precious!
Oh my! Levi is so cute in that outfit. And you're right the cape simply pulls it all together. I knew I forgot something when I got dressed this morning. It's so hard to find a good superhero cape nowadays.
And the 40 lb. backpack is good practice for when he goes to school. I swear I get a full day's exercise just lifting my son's backpack.

Oh Travis, He is just PRECIOUS!
This did my heart unbelievable good tonight!! I was sitting here at this computer looking at pictures of me and my mom (she just went home to be with Jesus recently) and the ache in my heart was so bad I didn't know how I would possibly smile through this kind of pain and than I checked your blog and WHAM!!! It was like getting a JOY shot right in the you know what!! The "HEART", that's the you know what I'm talkin' about!! It definately made me smile and a BIG one at that!
Tell your little guy God used his picture to minister to a hurting, lonely daughter clear across the country tonight in Redmond, WA!! You tell him that for me because I REALLY needed it!!!! Jesus knew, and he sent me the cutest superhero I've ever seen....Batman saves Gotham City, I mean....saves
Redmond City once again!!hee hee!!!
I have three boys, now ages 15, 13 and 10, but when my ten year old was about this ones age, maybe a little younger, he'd get all dressed up for school, backpack and lunch included, just to sit in the living room to watch "Little Bear" and "Franklin" and then have lunch at the kitchen table or have a carpet picnic with mom! (Oh, how he wanted to be just like his big brothers!) Sweet times, precious times.....treasure them!! I especially LOVE the clip-on tie,
tell him he is very handsome and looks much older than his age!! Very SMART too!!
Isn't it cool how God can use even a picture of one of His precious little ones to minister to a grown-up bawl-baby clear across the country!!
Our God is pretty GREAT!!
Many Thanks,
Angela in Redmond, Wa
Amen on the Batman cape! I bet I could find 4 of them in my house right now. And my son is 13! Some things just never go out of style. :)
That is quite a nice-looking and adventurous boy you got there, Travis. You are so very blessed!
Hey Travis,
Man, you are on a roll with the blogging. Keep it up!
That picture brings back the memories for me of my daughters dressing as princesses all day, every day. Rebekah actually insisted on wearing the Belle dress every day, which was fine, but she insisted on wearing it inside out. It was so adorable. They are now in their Little House on the Prairie phase. To be young again...
I would like to put a prayer request out there. My father-in-law called yesterday and told my husband his doctors found four malignant brain tumors. Last year he had heart blockage along with lung cancer where he had to have a third of his lung removed. He was still trying to get over all of that. The tumors are small and the doctors are hopeful and are going to aggressively treat him for this. Please pray for him, his family and his doctors as he goes through this.
Have a Blessed day!
Cindy
What a sweetie.
Too cute.
We have girls, so our at home wardrobe usually involves a crown and sceptor. :)
Oh, you are making me so homesick for the days when my boy would dress up like that! My favorite was the cowboy vest/snow boots ensemble, complete with fishing gear. He'd march ahead of me, then twist around, strike a pose and declare, "I'm an ACTION FIGURE!"
I love these little warriors!
As a mother of 2 little boys, I see many outfits similar to this on a daily basis. It cracks me up!
That kid has the most gorgeous blue eyes! He is gonna be a heartbreaker!
ahhh miss that face!
Yep....He is the cutest thing!! That smile and those eyes....ya'll watch out. ADORABLE!
Blessings~
he is ADORABLE!!!! Hey, Trav, do you wear the cape too?
LOL! I am loving the tie.
I think he definitely wins the fashion award for the day!
Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
children a reward from him.

What an adorable reward he is!! The cape is priceless!
Now THAT is fashion!
Oh my goodness my heart stopped he is so handsome!
I love the tie, the cape and the backpack - just precious!!
God bless,
Kim
Adorable!
He is just to cute for words!!! I miss this time, my boys are 17 and 19. I guess they are men now. LOL!!
Loving the tie and cape!!
ps...you have some HUGE fans in salisbury, nc :)
too cute! Gives me so much to look forward to with my 3 and 1 year old boys. Only had a sister growing up so the "boy" thing is a new world! Thank you for sharing with us!
Cute, cute, cute! (Yay! I'm all caught up with your posts now!)
Very cute. When my girls were younger their little action figures were simply called "Aladdin Toys" (the movie figurines). They kept them all, various shapes, sizes, and Disney movies represented, in one of those large cans that popcorn comes in around Christmas time. That container was so heavy and they would drag it all around the house. Good memories of my 22 and 17 year old babies! (btw: That was the hardest thing to get rid of when they were grown up. I still kept Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.)
is there anyway I can get clued in on the Next American Band thing from Friday when I had to work...what was the deal. I dont have the tevo thing or really even know where channels are. :)
