Thumpety Thump Thump

This is a little snippet of some of my friends singing background vocals on my Christmas project. In the control room are producers Brown Bannister and Kent Hooper, along with my son Jack. And singing the thumpety thump thumps are Tim Davis, Mark Ivey, Aimee Joy Weimer and Lisa Cochran. They are amazing singers and friends.

I'm getting in the Christmas spirit already! Sounds pretty swanky. Can't wait. While we were out shoe shopping for my niece's wedding Friday evening Abigail made us listen to the Disney Holiday CD so I've had quiet a bit of Christmas this weekend. Have a Blessed week ahead.

Do you have anything new coming out before Christmas or do we have to wait until then?

Just thought you would like to know "how" I used your CD. I flew to Boston for a funeral and my "thrifty" sister made the arrangements which included one stop. I prefer to fly nonstop with all of the problems with security. Anyway, the first leg of the trip went great. I even apologized to my sister for giving her a hard time. The way home - was a totally different story. Our first flight was canceled and we had to literally run to another gate - way on the other side of the airport. Instead of arriving in Atlanta at 10:30, we arrived at 1:30 WITHOUT our luggage. I was so mad at my sister - if we had only flown without stops, we would have our luggage, no blisters from running and arrived home at a decent hour. We parted ways - she lives in Athens, I live in Rome (opposite directions from Atlanta). On my drive home, I put in your CD that I bought at a Beth Moore conference. I had the volume way up and sang my heart out and cried in frustration all the way home. When I got home, I wasn't mad anymore. I was just inconvenienced - it wasn't my sister's fault. (the airline is another story) My luggage was delivered the next evening and I called my sister and apologized for my "behavior" when I found out our luggage didn't make it to Atlanta with us. I don't think anyone has sung your songs the way I did that night. I'm fortunate I didn't get stopped by the police - they would have thought I was crazy!!! Thanks for your wonderful music!!!
