Busy Week

I am so sad that I haven't had time to blog this week. It has been a crazy one so far. It's GMA Week (Gospel Music Association), and I have been busy with that...interviews and shmoozy meetings. It is pretty exhausting. Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the last day, with the week culminating with the Dove Awards. I am nominated again this year in the same category as last year - Musical of the Year. It is for a musical I wrote with David Moffitt and Sue C. Smith, called Everything Glorious. I am also presenting an award (but I don't know which one). That feels weird...I don't really know why they asked me to present an award. Seems like they should ask all the cool rocker dudes or something. Oh well...maybe I'm representin' my peeps of the generations of Christian music gone by. Grin. I'll let you know if I have any funny stories...like if I mispronounce some rock band or something like that.

This pic is of my kids before church on Sunday. Good grief...I am crazy about these younguns.

Lily Kate was having an amazing hair day under that hat. I can't believe you're presenting! How fun! And congrats on your nomination. Is Angela going with you? We will need to see pictures. I know she will be looking g-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s.

I'm pretty much a lurker...but love what our Father is doing through you. I love to worship and especially love to worship to/with your music.

Your kids ARE beautiful. I've got three myself...

Have to say that I love the "roller-shoes" (or whatever you call them) on your oldest.

And by the way, my fellow Idol fanatic, how much did you love Melinda tonight singing, "There Will Come a Day?"

Cool!

Don't forget to have an answer for the question: "Who are you wearing?" :)

Also, don't forget to say, "It is just an honor to be nominated."

Dear Travis, Angela, Jack, Lilly-Kate and Levi,

First I want to say that you have a wonderful new website!
It is good to see in the pictures and reading that things are well at your place!
It was a blessing to be with you last year February. Still things are going on in my life that starting in the USA. "Making a pact for impact" did realy make a difference in my life and I want to thank you for your blessings, love and hospitallity. Angela, thank you for your verse out of Proverbs 31. It really was a blessing for me and I am thankful to God that He used you to speak to me that time!
I hope to see you sometime again in Holland and wish that you will clearly understand Gods words as He speaks into your lives! Thank you!

Travis, I think there's room for a few more offspring on those steps! Your three children are so "fly!" I've learned that word watching AI...I'm pulling for Jordin.
By the way, I loved Lily Kate's photos of you sleeping!

Blessings to you...TTFN

Yes, I'm another 'lurker'! ;) I just wanted to say congrats on the award... I was introduced to your music through Living Proof Live events and you're now a regular in my CD player! (I will admit, though, I wore out 'In Christ Alone' and now it skips...sadness!!)

Thank you, everybody, for your kind words and congratulations! I don't even know what to say. I am so thankful to be able to serve this generation with the good news of Jesus. How can I say anything but - thank You, Lord, for Your mercy on my life. Thank you for taking my feeble offerings and using them somehow.

Thanks again - to all those posting that I know personally, and to those I have a kinship with, even though we haven't met. It is a joy to raise my voice in worship with you!

PS - Amanda - yes, Angela was a b-a-b-e.

Oh, and hey, Kim! Haven't seen you in ages! Many blessings to you!

You are really picking up the Beth Moore language when you use the term younguns! I am so blessed by the music God breathes into you!
So happy about the Dove award! It will pale in comparison to the crowns that you will have to cast at His feet because of your ministry to all of us!
