Goodbye-a Sanjaya

It finally happened. And America is breathing a sigh of relief.

Sanjaya is gone. And I have to confess, I didn't see it coming tonight. I thought Lakeesha was a goner for sure. But I stand corrected.

I am so excited that Melinda has such an amazing week - again - even on country week! She is a near-perfect singer. Jordin, too, is coming into her own. I dig her performances. Blake had a little bit of an off night. But I still think he is headed for at least the top 3.

OK, so I have been in la-la land since the weekend. The cross-country trip just about did me in. But I am finally coming out of my funk, and I am back in the land of the living.

I am excited to be home all week - driving carpool, making Saturday plans, singing in the choir on Sunday morning. Fun times for this home-body.

I intend to blog something more extensive (and not this fluffy) soon. But my body is still trying to generate more brain cells to help me in my hard-weekend-recovery. To my friends and family who read this - no brain cells comments from you.

Travis...you crack me up. May you get some quality rest from your exhaustive weekend trips. I'm 24 and my body still feels like it got hit by a truck. I can't decide if it's b/c 1) my sides still aching in laughter over your red-headed team member's bathroom pdlam, or 2) the sleep deprivation incurred Friday night when you get a bunch of delirious Jesus-loving women together in one hotel. Thank you for servant-leading us into His presence this weekend at S.C. I love Him all the more. What an amazing God we have!

I was glad to see Sanjaya say "good-bye-ya"...but I didn't see it coming either!

We don't mind the fluffy stuff--just glad to see a post!

Enjoy the week with the family!

Before Mandisa, Jim and I had never watched AI. Now we RECORD it if we are going to be gone. We never record anything else. Our fav this year is Melinda. Just can't help it. But I must tell you, Travis, you will always be Jim's AI. He thinks you're the best. Mary C

Hey Travis,
This is Natalie. I was in Columbia. All I can say is...what a great weekend!!! I really had a life changing experience. Check out my blog if you have time to read my post about it:http://holyknottchaos.blogspot.com/2007/04/new-woman.html

i liked Sanjaya! He dared to be different. He took alot of criticism to be only 17! i thought Lakeesha was going home, too.

I bought the new cd inspired by Beth's Book. I love it and so does my 4 year old. She sings along to the one by Cece Winan.
