Meetin' With The Mamas

I have big news.

I am about to get behind a microphone with Boomama and Bigmama for a special song.

Just kidding. For a PODCAST.

Yesssssssssssss. You heard me right. I am going to be a special guest on the next Boocast. And as excited as I have been writing songs this week...I gotta say I have been pretty dadgum excited about hangin' with the Mamas. The Mamas crack me and Angela up. We think they are one hollywood producer away from being their own sitcom. Either that, or one bad hair day away from doing hard time.

Oh, I kid because I love. (See - that's a Mama phrase.)

For real...we have grown slightly addicted to the Mamas, and love their posts. So I am looking forward to talking it up with some American Idol stuff, as well as whatever they want to talk about. I can't wait.

I am behind on my Idol-watching this week, because of our busy week...so I will be checking it out this week, and studying up for the Boocast. It's my goal to overwhelm them with my vast knowledge of all things Idol.

Not really. My real goal is to be the least southern-sounding person speaking.

I think they are taking questions over on their blog, should anyone have questions for me. I already warned them that it's not like I'm Steven Curtis Chapman or something...and all 5 people who might have a question for me can probably get their answers from my blog. But, oh well...I will play along.

We have some other fun stuff to talk about, too...should we run out of question(s).

I think I need my own nickname for this event. Boomama...Bigmama...and...Bodaddy. Or Bodiddy. Or Frydaddy.

Any suggestions?

As long as you don't start calling yourself BigPapi, I think we're all gonna be okay.

LUV Frydaddy! You know you could almost be BIGDADDY, but that would require facial hair, southern manion, fried chicken, and a definitive southern drawl.

I am sitting with ipod ready for the BIGBOOCAST!

Too keep it within the actual parameters of derivation of BooMaMa - would have to be LeviDaddy - which sounds a little like you make jeans (an honorable profession) or maintain the Temple worship (Hey that sounds familiar for you doesn't it?) Looking forward to making your mark on the blog world now!?

LOL!!! Frydaddy, that's it!! BooMama would love you forever with Frydaddy.

Looking forward to this! I have submitted my question. I asked a friend of yours my question and she said no so I am curious as to how you will answer!

Frydaddy, a rap star in the making!

This is going to be an award winning BigBooCast!

I think FryDaddy is good, very appropriate for the south, but Bodaddy is good to...It's a very important decision, one to take very seriously!

Have a wonderful weekend!

I like and think BooMama might LOVE FryDaddy. Cause as you know anything fried can't be all bad. (Hehe) Can't wait to listen in.

I am a little partial to the whole praisedaddy line of thinking... but who am I ... just 'nother blog junkie... uh-um... I guess my strongholds are showing better scat.

Although, in this sea of women bloggers "Blogdaddy" ain't too terrible either. (My daughers would have a fit if they knew I posted the word AIN'T on the WorldWideWeb - so we won't tell them will we... Ha!)

Have a blessed week and BOO Cast...

Just MHO, but I prefer Travis Cottrell to SCC - no dish, just the best praise is all!

Blessings,
Michelle

Blessings,
Michelle

I'm just hoping that there can be some equal time giving the Papa some props---HoosierDaddy--Denver. DMHO will be in the Hoosier state 3/28, but it seems you have a commitment in FL that night. Because you are good buds, how about heading north from NashVegas sometime?!? Could we in Indiana get some "Blessed Assurance" that this could happen?

I so enjoyed the podcast! You must join them again...with Angela. I'd like to hear her version of you guys meeting. I bet it's good!

And honestly, there was no better song to sing in Colorado than "Annie's song." Although I am still really enjoying the WHOLE CD, Found. Really good!

Happy Belated Birthday, Travis!
My Chris turned 38 last Sunday.
Our oldest turns 10 tomorrow.
And two weeks from tomorrow (on Jackson's b-day) I'll be 37.
Blessings on you and your fam....praying for you all,
holly
PS Strawberry cake is my favorite, too!

I just left the podcast. My sides hurt from laughing. That whole thing about playing the piano at Nordstram's just about did me in.

Have an incredible Sunday

I loved, loved, loved the podcast! It was so funny. There's just something about listening to people laugh that makes me happy! I laughed so hard when you brought up the Cheez-it post! Only Boomama can get so many comments about that! It was also too funny when Alex told his mom that she's not supposed to say "shut-up" when she said that after you told her it was your birthday! Kids don't miss a thing!

Happy belated birthday to you!

Hey, Travis! LOVED the podcast. You fit right in with those two crazy girls! Boomama asked my question of you; the one about Mandisa (my pretend BFF) and if you met any other Idol contestants. And I know the Travis body double; let me know if you need me to hook you up. :)

So glad to have found your blog. Your music has blessed me countless times. When I got my ipod, one of the first songs I purchased was My Passion. :)

My Mandisa obsession is chronicled here. Thanks for first introducing me to her! :)
