Ministry

We are in Destin, FL for a concert tonight. I got up early and went and got a surprise for my team this morning. When I got back to the hotel, I plopped myself in the hall of our hotel floor, and texted them this message:

Hot Krispy Kremes in the hall.

They have never moved to sound check this swiftly.

Krispy Kreme is ministry.

Heck...I almost jumped in my car and drove to Destin myself for hot Krispy Kremes!! :)

Have fun. That church does a lot of outdoor concerts and we have been to several when on vacation. We stay not too far from there at Destiny East when we go there.

Blessings,
Dori

Oh yes it is.... now tell California that. They can't keep a Krispy Kreme open out here. What's up with that?

Amen!!! Our Krispy Kreme closed for nearly a year here in Phoenix and much to our delight, has just recently reopened.

Have a wonderful, blessed time this evening. Try to get some time on the beach, but beware the sea-weed... it was awful last week. Wish we had delayed our vacation a week.

I KNOW you packed some Barley Max to wash down (and help digest) those donuts,RIGHT?
:o)

Now that's just plain mean. Sophie posted these earlier this week...now you...and in DESTIN, too.

So I repeat my friend Heather's mantra: Thou shalt not covet. Thou shalt not covet!

Please enjoy the beach for me! I'm praying for you all.
With blessings,
holly

That's a SWEET way to start the day. I love them HOT! Or cold.

I pray at the Pearly Gates Jesus will say, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks..." (Neh 8:10) and right there will be a Krispy Kreme! Now THAT'S Heaven!

I love the fact that im the only dude to post a comment on your blog sometimes..LOL

THANK YOU for your honest, heartfelt worship service tonight! I almost stayed home because we had a bad storm in Ft Walton, and I really didn't feel up to a 'concert' but I'm so glad I didn't. I needed so desperately to be in the presence of God - and I so found Him on the lawn in Destin, FL! Wasn't it awesome He graced us with His presence! God bless you with a safe trip to your next destination & Thank you for coming to Destin, FL!!

Next time you're in Destin...while I KNOW Krispy Kreme is delicious...there is a mom & pop donut shop (and, I can't remember the name of it...I think it's the Donut Hole--look at my blog and see if you can read the box top in that picture with my kids eating them up...my eyes aren't that good) out on Hwy. 98. It's SOOOO good that last year, at our church retreat in Panama City, one of our elders drove ALL THE WAY from PCBeach to get donuts from this particular place. We had to wait an hour for those puppies, but they were SO good! I think we're 12 weeks and counting from our next retreat...thanks for the great reminder about the donuts! Guess I just have to hit the gym harder over the next few weeks to make sure I can confidently enjoy the donut mininistry! By the way, I actually DID take my Barley Max afterwards last year! :)

My three grandchildren and I were in
Gatlinburg last year and we stopped at a Krispy Kreme and got those heavenly warm donuts - I handed three
back to those precious grandchildren and within one second all three of them had demolished in one bite their donut. All I heard was a lot of um's
and ah's and yum yums as they were demolished - and then of course, I hear "Can we have another one?" Of course, they all got one more.
