Waiting

Hey, friends. I'm waiting for enough brain cells to collect before I post a REAL post again. I'm still EXHAUSTED from the weekend...but it was AWESOME one at Deeper Still and First Baptist Cartersville.

My kids had a swim meet today, so I spent most of the day at the pool. It's just as well. I still feel to ambushed from the weekend to get much work done. I think one more good night's sleep, plus tonight's episode of Wipeout and I will be good to go tomorrow.

Take care...

Glad to know we're not the only house that finds "wipeout" good for the soul! ;)

Yep...we are 15 minutes away from wipeout here and the popcorn is ready to go into the microwave. Last week it took us an hour and half to watch this show. We kept stopping and rewinding....oh the commentary....

Seriously, we had friends at the Cartersville concert Sunday night. They told me today just how awesome it was. THANK YOU for leading them to the Father's throne, you may never know just how much you and the team did in their life. (Plus, they are celebrating their third anniversary today and Sunday's drive, concert and dinner was their "date".)

Have a great week!

I'm a bit disappointed with Wipeout. It's like MXC but not as funny. So sad...big build up for fizzle. Now I'll try "I Survived a Japanese Gameshow" in hopes it will redeem me.

I was just talking to the friend that I was there with last weekend and we both agree that we are still pretty exhausted, too.
So if *we* feel that way, I can't even imagine how y'all must feel...
Rest, brother.

Hey, wasn't there supposed to be some kind of (Christmas) "gift" at the book table this weekend? It was the first thing I looked for when we got there, but I found... nothing.

You know what I actually just said aloud? "Oh no, I missed Wipeout tonight!" Instead I was facilitating the No Other gods Bible study. Where are my priorities? Needing prayer for them, I'm a thinkin'. But I do love a good "ouch" moment for laughter's sake.
