Shark Post FOUND

Many thanks to all of you who tried to help me find my shark post. It actually was gone...as in, GONE. No where to be found. Possibly eaten by a shark. I'm not sure.

But thanks to the heroic copying and pasting by Nancy Mattingly, I have it back.

Thank you, Nancy!

100 brownie points for Nancy! Who doesn't just love her to pieces?!

Seriously, though, if she wouldn't have recovered it, I wouldn't have enjoyed the laugh I just had. Too funny!

So, thank you, Nancy. And thank you, Travis for providing a laugh before bed!

I have the end of your story on the link AND on my bloglines and on my RSS feed blog list. That's weird. I guess you don't need it e-mailed again but lmk if you do. Blogger Buzz on Dashboard said that they have restored all the accounts marked as SPAM since Friday. So maybe it had to do with the bug in their data processing code making posts vanish. Speaking of the simulcast, I'm still thinking THAT SONG about Psalm 145 was like one of the best moments in music for me.

Speaking of Nancy, she emailed me yesterday to let me know that she gave you guys my contact info in case ya'll ever need a sitter. She was worried that maybe she shouldnt have done that without my permission. She's looney. I'd love to hang with the kids:) Feel free to call anytime.
Great running into ya'll again!

Travis,

So glad I got read the rest of your shark story. I was one of those who got to your post late and missed out.

I love the beach. Which is tricky because I am land-locked in Colo Springs. But I try for a beach fix every year. Many times I don't go in the ocean. My imagination runs wild. I just enjoy the waves, the sand, the sun. And kids can yell and scream and squeal and you never hear their parents telling them to quiet down. I call it God's playground.

So how will you tell your three kids this story? "Daddy saw a shark and then went back in the water!!" Parenting is a challenge at moments like that.

And thank you to Nancy.

I attended the Lou-uh-vull LPL via Simulcast from my church in Oronogo, MO (just break it down to pronounce...Or-on-o-go. It comes from miners looking for Ore--"ore-or-no-go". Catchy, huh?!) Our church of 2000+ is litterally in the country and the middle of a field. :-) It was so nice to study with Beth and worship with you from here. Your voice is like "Butta". :-) And those women on the praise team...a few times I just had to stop singing and listen!! WOW!! So glad you do what you do! (And, I CAN'T WAIT for the Christmas album!):-)

I am enjoying your blog and your sense of humor! So great!

Travis,

I know this comment doesn't go with this post but I wasn't sure where else to leave it and I wanted you to know about it.

Our church was part of the LPL simulcast this past weekend. Our Director of Media Ministries is a wonderful godly man named Wes. Wes is very quiet and intense and doesn't say much unless asked and then it is pretty brief.

Obviously in his job he is focused on the technical aspects of the service or event he is working on and doesn't get the opportunity to truly worship as he would like.

He told me yesterday that during the song "In Christ Alone" that you did prior to the invitation time on Saturday that he worshipped more deeply than he had in a very long time. His words were, "It was amazing."

All the work of putting together the simulcast at our location (I'm the Women's Ministry Director) was suddenly worth is all. Wes's comment touched me deeply and I thought you would like to know how the Lord used you in Blairsville, GA.

Just wanted to let you know how amazing the Simulcast Fri and Sat was! I was so moved by the Revalation song on Fri night, and took it to my heart. Then when you finished on Saturday with a repeat of that song, I could barely stand it! What amazing words and powerful praise in that song! Straight worship! I hope you'll use it alot in the future ~ and I'm looking forward to your future work!
Thank You for the Blessing!

Travis -- all I can say is... WOOT!

Man, oh, man ... you and your team did an unbelievable ... UNBELIEVABLE... job at leading worship this past weekend at the Beth Moore simulcast. Amazing. The spirit was truly moving through you!!

Thank you for being a vessel that delivers such fine worship!

And your voice? It totally rocks! I was so honored to be able to sit and worship with you again! (last year's simulcast rocked, too!)

I noticed it was missing not long after it was first posted and wondered what the deal was! Yay for recovery! What an exciting day at the beach!

(and that is one more reason why this girl prefers the indoors!)

I am so glad that you escaped the shark. Otherwise we wouldn't have heard you and the praise team during the simulcast from Lou-a-vul. All of you were such a blessing. We had one attendee that had never heard Beth speak or you sing and she was so excited.

It was amazing. I am looking so forward to San Antonio.

Dear Travis,
I was at a simulcast last week end and wish I had another venue to ask the name of the song that was sung with lyrics: Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come, With all creation I sing, praise to the risen King. I always come away with a song that I can't shake and in Colo Spgs it was the Mercy Seat. Could yo supply me with information about this song please?
In the Beloved, Anastasia

anastasia...I had the same question and someone earlier wrote that the name of the song is Revelation Song...i found it at amazon.com There are several different versions and artists...unfortunately Travis is not listed...assuming he hasn't recorded it (yet:) Be sure and listen to the preview because they are not all the same song...Hope this helps...tanya

I was thrilled to be in Louisville this weekend. The coolest thing was that I left the conference not thinking about super-cool you or super-awesome Beth but JESUS. Love, love, love Him! Thanks for drawing me closer!
