The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything

We went to see the premiere of the new VeggieTales movie that will be out in theaters this Friday - "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything." It was really great! Everybody take your families to the movie this weekend if you can...and let's support this great Christian and family-friendly flick.

Hey TC. So you're through lounging on the beach, eh? My kiddos got to go last night as well. Responses included: "Awesome movie, and I saw the lead singer from Relient K! (my 12 year old). "It was so cool! And Tru-Dog walked right by me! (my 8 year old). "It's the best Veggie Tales ever!" (from the 5 year old, the only one who wasn't star-spotting). HA!

We'll have to check it out.

However, after reading russ's kids reaction, my kids will wish they were at the premier. My girls are NUTS over Tru-Dog. They picked right up on that "shake-it......" you know the rest. I just shake my head and listen to the giggles!

We are so excited to take the kids to that one!
I could, quite possibly, sing every VT song. Yes, I know how sad that is!

Is everybody commenting "Tru-Dog" as in Tobymac's son? "Cause Malcolm and I are nut-ty over him/them. Does he have a song(s) in the movie? I probably won't make it this weekend (by myself since there are no kids/grands), but Veggie Tales are cool.

We've been HUGE Veggie Tales fans before VT became popular. I've even played episodes for my college classes. They've loved it too or perhaps it was just the break from my lecturing!!

Can't wait to see the movie!!

Had no idea VTP was coming out w/another movie. I will check out the local theaters. I too remember Veggie Tales before it was big, when my kids were small! That makes me feel OLD. Hey, referring back to your post on Christmas movies, you must have seen White Christmas? It is wonderful.

We too, are looking forward to seeing this. I love reading your blog and get such a blessing from it!! I watched the clip from Lifeway.com about the Psalms of Ascent and was so excited to see that you were going to be on there. That is one that we are considering doing very soon. Thanks again for all you do at the Living Proof conferences. You challenge us and bring this house down with his worship. Keep up the good work because he who started a good work in you is faithful to complete it!!!
