Estes Park, CO

Hey everybody. I am in NW Arkansas this afternoon. We just finished leading worship at a women's conference here, and are singing at FBC Bentonville, AR in the morning.

My friend just sent me these pics from my short time at Estes Park, CO this past week. I got to sing on a night with some great artists...

Natalie Grant...

Brian Littrell...he wants it that way (a little Backstreet Boys humor)...

and Jamie Jamgochian (pictured here with Joy Fletcher, a sweet friend who works for GMA).

I also got to say hey to Sue C. Smith...

...who is a great friend and great songwriter. Sue and I have co-written a bunch of songs, like Aliver Forever Amen, My Passion, and This Is Our God. AND, Sue let me borrow her iron Wednesday afternoon...she drove back to the camp from town just to bring it to me. Thanks, Sue!

It was a good trip, but the tight schedule was tough. The altitude killed my voice. And I couldn't breathe very well. This is me getting some oxygen before I sang in the evening concert...

I can't even tell you how much better I felt after I had that oxygen. I almost went on stage with a big oxygen tank. Not really.

Thanks for all of the info about astro pops. I had no idea I could find out so much info about random old candy online. So sad they are gone forever.

Hope you all are having a good weekend. Talk to you soon!

Travis

Would you mind if I shared the photo of Brian Littrell with his BSB fans?

I can hotlink to your blog, or post the pic (or a link to it) elsewhere with a credit to "Travis"

Thanks in advance (I hope)!

Oxygen is a good li'l trick that Nat uses too, right? and it works, right? That Colorado air can make you wonder about yourself, huh?
This is too cool to get to sing with and see all these artists.....
You are busy.

Yay for pictures!

And Sue is an unknown bff of mine then if she drove back to bring you an iron! lol

And the song 'My Passion' has been blaring on my car trips the past few days...and I think I've about killed the CD :( It's a really sad moment when you realize you've hit repeat too many times and I have to hear myself singing in the moments when it skips. Real bad Travis. Real bad.

:) Thanks for the update! See you on the 10th here in Hotlanta!

When we moved to Colorado, it took three months to fully acclimate. Did you know that our baby Sydney, born here in Colorado Springs, was born with more blood cells (all babies in Colorado are) than aq baby in lower altitude. Isn't God cool?

Come back to Colorado with your family and stay awhile. I have pictures posted from the places we have visited in the past 6 months (including Estes)...check them out and come on back!
Praying for your family and ministry,
Holly

I laughed out loud at the Backstreet Boys humor!!!

By the way, LOVE Denver & MHO!!! We heard them several years ago at "The Gathering" in Hilton Head, SC (the conference for music ministers/spouses, etc., where we first met you).

Sounds like a great weekend!!! I love that you're blogging more. I just want Angela to start one on the "real" stuff behind the scenes!

Hey Travis-
I was at FBC B'ville this morning and I just wanted to tell you that you were awesome (as always). Thanks for leading us in such a great time of worship. It truly felt the spirit of God there this morning!
I was the girl on the video who was talking when no sound was coming out. ha!

I about died laughing at the Brian Littrell commment...probably because in my early highschool days I was his #1 fan. (Yes, I admitt it!)

Jealous you were in CO, my favorite place..and one where ALL my family is!

And, I can't imagine singing with not enough oxygen. I am used to it since I am there so much, but try going up Pikes Peak. WOW. Talk about NO oxygen whatsoever, def. a little bit of a high up there!

Glad you had a good time!
