At the Beach

Hey, everybody! I hope you are having a good week. We are having a great time at the beach. Lots of sun, lots of water, lots of sleep, lots of good food.

As soon as we got here on Monday, we headed straight for the sand. We found lots of shells.

We also found lots of jellyfish.

There are lots of jellyfish here right now, so our wave-riding is a little limited. But we are having fun anyway.

Levi is chillin' and kickin' back in the surf here...

Our friends Nirva and Seth Ready came down and joined us. They sing on the praise team with us. They are amazing singers, and amazing people.

We love the Ready's!

I did a stupid thing and broke my toe in the pool on Monday night. The first night here! I am such a goober. I am hobbling around like an old man. No comments, please.

It's feeling better every day, and I am still having so much fun with my sweet family. I will post more later. Have a great day!

Hey Travis,

I am glad you and your family are enjoying your much deserved vacation! The beach looks so beautiful in your photos. So, exactly how did you manage to break your toe? I'm glad it's not ruining your fun. My daughters and I had the pleasure of meeting Nirva and Seth when you all were in Boone. They are really great. Hope you have a great rest of the week. God bless and have a safe trip home.

LOL LOL. Travis...really....no comments about a certain incident??? Okay okay okay...It's okay. I posted about my first embarrassing 'freshmen' moment a few days ago, so it would make anyone who stumped their toe feel better :)

Glad to see y'all relaxing and having fun.

PS - South Hamilton, MA is no GA for sure ...

How fun! That pic of Levi is so awesome. Love that hat. I'm sorry about your toe! That is somewhat gooberish. We'll think of you this weekend when Mom and Liss and I are mingling with the stars in LA.

Travis,
Sorry to hear about the broken toe, (sounds like something I would do! doh!) but I know that has not kept you out of the water...I am so jealous right now. We absolutely love the beach, and your pictures are awesome. Time with your family is precious. Enjoy every minute of it while the rest of us are at the daily grind...I know I would be! Hope all heals well, and thanks for sharing with us!

That water...that sand...BEAUTIFUL.
And Nirva...rocks my face off.

...two times.

I dropped a drawer on my toe and popped the nail off once :) Glad that no one in your family is having toe problems though ;)

Oh my goodness, Travis! And I thought I was the only gimpy one. I broke my toe right before my trip to Chicago. No reason, other than I'm a klutz. You can read about in my blog, "Oh no, it's my toe!"

The good news is it's still warm and you can wear sandles. . . very comfy for a hurtin' piggy.

I can almost hear the surf through your pictures. I just wish there was a beach close to St. Louis!! Unfortunately there isn't. So, I'll just have to live vicariously through your pix. Keep 'em coming, bro!

Your klutzy, broken-toed sister in Christ,
~Cheryl

Eyuw, jellyfish! Glad they finally went way deep. You guys look right at home in that beautiful sand and surf. Eat lots of seafood for me and enjoy your downtime. You've earned it!
Sorry about your toe! I went to the beach one time and slipped down a spiral staircase. Let me tell you it hurt! ttfn & see ya in Nashville!
