Me And My BM's

It finally happened. I was finally with both of my BM's at the same time.

Beth Moore. Ben Mandrell. My two bosses! My two leaders. My two friends. I love both of these people so much. It was important to me for them to love each other, too. (Too bad I don't look happy in this picture.)

High five on that one.

I have had the great joy of serving in a lot of cool places and for many different great events. I've had a wide array of deep-meaning ministry experiences. But what I've come to realize is that when I step away and look back at the things in my past, it's what the Lord does between people that matters the most. Not the cool locations, or delicious food, great recordings or busy schedules. But people to people. Person to person. Heart to heart. God often reveals Himself to us in the ins and outs of how we love one another. I dig it.

And I love serving with two people whose hearts I can trust with my life.

I can also trust that Beth will always look cooler than us. Always. Even when she's getting like 3 feet of air. GOSH.

"sing his face off" that made me laugh. Great pics! Glad u had a great time. (I did come over here because I was sucked in hook, line, and sinker with the whole BM's twitter comment. That kinda makes me a gross person ) 8-/

Yes, Travis can sing his face off, and I already miss him and Angela at TSC!

God has used your lady BM(you know that just sounds wrong) so incredibly to pour His Word into my life... hope I get to hug her neck someday and thank her for her willingness to let God use her.

Hope y'all are adjusting well in your new home!

Ok, Travis, I'm just gonna say that the whole BM title made you sound like a little old nursing home man. It certainly had shock value.

Great post and great, great pics.

Travis,

I thought for sure this was a post about bowel movements and it didn't deter me one bit! How sick is that?

I am so glad that you have two significant BM's in your life. Some people struggle to have even one ;)

Happy 4th of July!

Ummm.... I wasn't aware you had such a problem with BM's -- of course, being in the medical field, that is a very special abbreviation for very special people!!!

Ok--of course as others have said you did get our attention, but still :(

I love reading your posts and have been so encouraged to see God's work.

Delighted to see y'all so happy!

@ Pastor Ben - isn't it awesome how Travis "sings his face off" so amazingly for GOD?? The man gives me goosebumps!

Thanks for the fun update and great pictures!

I was in St Louis June 25th and 26th (my hometown) and was incredibly blessed. We are going through a very rough season at this time (my FIL died suddenly and the next day we learned my Mom has cancer) and when you called us to prayer on Saturday morning, the Holy Spirit just washed anew all over me. My sister-in-law and I were holding one another, I was doing the UGLY CRY and our newfound but nameless sisters in Christ seated next to us held us and prayed over us!

Thank you for serving us so well!

I love Beth Moore. And I respect Beth Moore. And I think Beth Moore is awesome. But I could dunk on Beth Moore. She knows it. Just look at the picture a second time. And...for that matter...I could dunk on Cottrell. He's a musician.

Uh, is that a THREAT, BM1? This is BM2 here and I contend that you and Travis refused to post the picture where I got two feet of air over the top of your two (thinning) heads!

I love you, too. I respect you, too. I think you're awesome, too. And I want another shot at that picture. Dad gummit.

Dunked by Doogie Howser. Good grief. How does a self-respecting person live that down?

Travis,

I love what you said about "it's what the Lord does between people that matters most". I am a worship leader, and I love and feel called to do that, but I am mostly amazed by what God does one on one between hearts. And can totally relate to this statement "God often reveals Himself to us in the ins and outs of how we love one another. I dig it." I dig that too. Thanks for putting into words what my heart has felt so often. Keep fanning the flame.

Safe travels home !!
Talked to Laura about Beth and the group.
