I was at the Omaha LPL - it was amazing. Thank you for sharing your music, your praise, and your love of the Lord Jesus. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life - Thank you! God bless and your beautiful family -
Thank you for being a bridge to God's throne rather than a distraction. When you led, I forgot you were even up there...it was that good...that effective. I'm giving you the highest compliment I can think of when I say you disappeared so that all I saw was Christ...magnified and in shocking glory!
I handed you and Beth a scribbled note on Friday night as I blubbered something like "thank you". I feel for ya. Probably thought I was a nut case -- I simply could NOT stop crying those tears of joy! My Bible was actually wet.
I was diagnosed with panic disorder just days before the conference. Missing the godly wisdom of my husband in Iraq, and with Satan whispering in my ear, I felt the diagnosis was a irreversable curse -- a death blow. Despair fell on me with smothering weight.
The initial media presentation of Jesus' names and the following Scripture began the flooding shower of hope God used to cleanse my mind and heart. After the worship time led by you and the first talk by Beth God had encompassed me with joy. All that despair was lifted, praise God.
I went forward for prayer during the break on Saturday -- not for healing this time, but for the grace and strength needed to obey Him and stop worrying, despite the panic disorder. I can hardly wait to see how He will use this weakness to bring a love for Him I never would have known otherwise!!
Travis - where can I get the song from the Omaha LPL that begins with "You are the source of my life" and a few lines down "There's no other Name by which I am sane"? Oh my goodness ... that is something I have told Jesus for years and when I heard it I could not believe someone had put it to music. Where, where, where can I find that song? Thanks you so much, Jan
Joy - we prayed for you and are joyful for the miraculous work God is doing in you. I am thankful for His timely Word for you last weekend. Your testimony is a powerful one. And I pray that as you continue to walk in freedom, the Lord will give you many chances to share the hope and victory the Lord has given you in the midst of such a trying time! Many blessings to you!
Jan - thanks for your comment about the song, titled "Rescue." I didn't write it, but it is on our cd called "The Lamb has Overcome." The lyric actually says, "by which I am saved," but certainly He is the ONLY reason I am sane! Give Him praise!
I am passionate about Jesus, and about my family. And I LOVE my life as a worshipper of the Most High God. And I love my job...my calling...as a worship leader. I travel with Beth Moore and lead worship at her Living Proof Live conferences. It is an honor and a joy. I am crazy about the team I travel with, and the music we get to lift up to Jesus. I am also the Worship Pastor at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. I love the people of EBC, and am so grateful to be serving Jesus alongside them!
