Knock Knock. Who's There? It's ME.

So, here's a list of things I've done since May 23 (this list is also known as "Travis' Groveling For Your Grace and Unconditional Love Despite the Fact He Hasn't Blogged in 14 Years"):

1. Moved my family, myself and all of our belongings to another city. Everything. Out of one house. And into another.
2. Closed on the selling of our house.
3. Planned and led 36 worship sets.
4. Co-navigated VBS, football camp (one child) and theater camp (three children) alongside my wife.
5. Edited a book.
6. Wrote an Easter musical.
7. Raised children.
8. Loved my bride.

Things I have not done since May 23:
1. Seen Toy Story 3.
2. Written a blog.

I'm about to be back on my feet. And then I WILL BE BACK.

I know all three of you will be ecstatic.

To infinity and beyond,

Travis
Gal. 2:20

#4 Wha-HOO!
Glad to hear (read) your doing well. Your summer has been as busy as ours. Between VBS and camps, there are not many lazy days of summer left. We have one more camp left, at Ridgecrest (YAY)!

Praying for your family!

Gee, Travis, looking at that list I just can't see why you haven't found time to check in with your internet friends! Just kidding!

You have been missed here. Delighted to have you check in.

God and family first, my friend - the rest of the to-dos are far down the list. You are just a man with your priorities straight. No apologies needed for that!

God bless!

Lucky number 9 here! Glad to hear you are moved, settled. My daughter is at theater camp this week too - she is playing the part of Edgar, the evil butler, in 'The Aristocats'. When she reminded the camp director that this is the third year in a row she has played an evil part, the director told her, "you're not evil Rachel - just dramatic!"

Take care,
Adrienne

Yes Travis you were missed but as a fellow mover I so get that. I hope Angela has everything in place. Hugs to you Angela for the big move. Here in Wyoming it is boring but my family also changed churches and dealing with a 17 year old the summer will go by fast.

Have a great week everyone.

You know there are more crazy groupies then just three ;)

Love you guys and definitely kept you in prayer through the transitions, movings, and traveling. Keep loving that bride 'cause the more my man leads us into more of God's ministry that was placed in his heart I see how much it means to be a faithful Bride to your "called" man.

Blessings,

P.S. I haven't seen Toy Story 3 either. It has been a busy Summer

Looks like I am crazy groupie #15. I totally understand about the moving part. We are moving ourselves right now which is something that we haven't done since our kids were born and they are teens! Not an easy task.

Glad to hear that you are getting settled in Jackson. I know Ben is certainly glad you are there as well as the rest of the church. Sure wish we were still there! God's blessings on you and your family~

I'm in the editing stages of the Bible study I've written and that, alone, is enough to blow your mind. Throw in a move and a new job and oh my goodness you deserve a vacation and a nervous breakdown. Welcome back.

We've missed you! We've had plenty of your music around, though. We had a very unique worship/commitment time with the elementary girls @ "Camp N.O.W." (not of the world) 2 weeks ago. I played music from my iTunes during the service, including your "live" version of "In Christ Alone," in the background, as we had a "wedding"...where the girls would come forward, take part in communion, have promises of God spoken over them, receive a covenant ring, declare their devotion to Jesus, and lay the crowns they'd worn all week on the floor "at His feet." As we closed our time together, I played, and we sang together in declaration of our testimony, the Cool Springs Kids (don't really know who they are) version of "In Christ Alone" so that the little girls could worship together in a more singable-for-them key. I played the same music on the way home, too. My daughter heard it and exclaimed from the back seat (about the Cool Springs Kids version): "WOW! Travis's kids are GOOD!" :)

Well, there's way more than 3 of us that follow your blog. But I'm guessing most of us act a lot like me and just read what you write instead of responding like blog writer actually want their readers to. :) So I'm responding today, which is totally out of the norm for me, but I have to tell you this cute tidbit: My 3-yr-old son is obsessed with all things having to do with trains, cars, and veggie tales. He was begging me to watch veggie tales all morning yesterday, but he had to wait because it was "momma's turn" with the tv (oh yes, I do that) and I was trying to settle my heart in Him while watching your Jesus Saves dvd. When it was done playing, I told my son he could pick a movie now. Fully expecting hi to ask for "The Ballad of Little Joe" for the 275th time, I was surprised when he asked to watch Jesus Saves again! Then he sat down in front of the tv and tried to sing along with you through all of those songs, and clapped so excitedly when Beth took the stage. Melted my heart.

Hey, why are you still reading my comment? Get back to work! You have too much to do! :)
Thanks for blessing our family.

Wonderful wonderful worship this past weekend in St. Louis! I was just thinking today that I should add your RSS feed to my toolbar -- glad to see I hadn't missed much.

When my girlfriends & I walked into the arena, we were trying to figure out where we were in relation to the "front" of the stage. And then I saw the keyboard and told them, well, at least Travis will be mostly facing us!

So sorry you haven't been to "infinity & beyond" yet - you will love it, although I still think the first one is best!

Have a great weekend!!!

Guess I am #35!!! More of us missed your blogging than you thought! Hope that all the changes in your life are a blessing to you because I already know that you wouldn't have pursued them unless they were bringing the Lord glory! Best wishes in all your new endeavors! Have a great summer with your family. I will be seeing you in Lowell, Massachusetts in October! Can't wait!

#36 here....! TC, you have been missed! First of all, you led AWESOME praise & worship in St. Louis this past weekend....tears flowing and arms toward Heaven. (Please tell me what the opening accapella # was? Goose bumps all over...kudos to you for that opening)
I'm looking forward to the book...know it will be awesome. Also looking forward to Jesus Saves on Sept. 12th to celebrate my birthday!
I'm glad the Lord has provided strength and grace and mercy to you, Angela and the kids during the last few months. No doubt it's nice to be on "this" side of it!
(I saw you 2 yrs ago at The Cove with Chip Ingram....amazing man of God you are).
Blessings for the rest of the summer!!!

Hey Travis. My family and I were just in Franklin recently and I saw all the homes up for sale. All I could think was how good God was for helping you sell yours! Hoping your family is starting to feel grounded in your new spot!
