Can I get a What?! What?!

Woo hoo! I'm back! And I've missed you. So for all three of you that missed me back, we can resume our blog community, if you can still love me after my long absence. After a tremendous work load, a dead computer, spring break, and a thousand other things, I am happy to be back in the swing.

I'm so happy to say that the new project is recorded, mixed, and turned in. Last night was (hopefully) my last all-nighter for a long time. There are so many God stories and testimonies of His great power and grace during the past couple of months, and I hope to be able to share some of them with you soon. I also HAVE NOT forgotten that I need to share about my Haiti trip last month. I have been without my computer for 3 of the last 4 1/2 weeks. That has been LOADS of fun...to not have my computer during the busiest time of my life. It was not inconvenient at all. AHEM.

I am so happy to have my computer back. When the FEDEX dude delivered it to my door yesterday, I literally had a tear in my eye. Not a very manly story to tell, but true nonetheless.

We are in Portland for a Living Proof Live. What a huge first night it was. We sang and danced (shh...don't tell) our worship to Jesus. 7,000 of us threw our heads back and gave the Lord everything we had tonight. Can't wait until we do it again in the morning. And the cool thing about being on the west coast is that when we start at 8:30am, it's really 10:30 to our bodies. Those two hours do a voice a WORLD of good.

Here are some pics from tonight...(thanks, Rich!)...

oh my word. I thought I was gonna have to host a yard sale and put the proceeds in the "get Travis a new computer" fund or stand on the highway like a Shriner. Shew!

Thankfully, I have to do neither (not that I wouldn't if I had to)!

Can't wait to hear all the updates. Bloggy world hasn't quite been the same without ya...

Travis...the Portland event ROCKED! Jesus was lifted HIGH! Thank you for leading us into worship of the Most High. My husband and I lead worship, so it is a treat to be able to worship side by side with my peeps! I was wondering if you would be willing to post a song list of what we sang? There were a couple of hymns that I am not familiar with that I LOVED! Thanks so much for serving!

We are still in Portland after attending the seminar Friday/Saturday. Watching some of the basketball game on television in the same arena where we gathered together with over 7,000 woman!! Just basking in the glow of the Spirit that was in that place!!! I would think some there tonight are wondering what had taken place earlier that day.

I so appreciate the way you listen to the Spirit as you lead the worship and your humble spirit. 6 words from me....Uplifting, Glorifying, Awesome, Inspirational AND Healing!!

Oh Travis and the Praise Team. How wonderfully blessed we are that you humbly serve the Lord with your gifts of music. Without taking any glory from the Lord may I say "YOU GUYS ROCK THE HOUSE". All 19 ladies in our group sang, danced, clapped, praised, and lifted hands to the LORD ALMIGHTY. Thank you for being the vessels to usher in our worship. We were truly blessed by you all and the LORD. You guys can sing "a little". I love that statement.

Just as a side not perhaps you should know that our women's bible study worships by laptop ITUNES on little speakers that are distored. So when I say you ROCK THE HOUSE I mean it.

Praise the Lord with us, one of our ladies accepted the Lord as her savior. We could not even stand it when we found out. I wanted to run up and tell you guys (but my mom was right next to me and she said "NO") even at 41 I still listen to her. ha ha.

Anyway I just wanted to encourage you all to stay the course serving the Lord because you make a difference and we loved the humble spirit in which you serve your sisters in Christ.

May God continue to receive all the GLORY. We will continue our prayers for you.

Thanks again for coming back out to say hi to us. For the record, I'm not usually so High School Musical, I honestly just wanted to say hello. Thanks for doing double duty with Victory In Jesus- loved, loved, loved it! 6 words: The praise was awesome, God dropped!
I also love the "Holy, holy, holy" song and the song you guys (actually one girl!) sings that list all the names of God. What's the name of that song? Do you have it on CD? It was great to see all of you, just wanted to cry when you all left! Won't heaven be grand? :)

Glad to have you back in the blogosphere!

I totally understand the separation anxiety with your computer. Mine died a painful death a few weeks ago and I've been going through some massive withdrawl (and have become my blackberry's new BFF!)
Yay on getting the latest project recorded and mixed - can't wait to get my ears on a copy! =P

Travis - Thank you Thank you Thank you! Six words but they say from my heart what your all-out worship meant to me. I knew you all (I can't say y'all cuz I'm from Portland) must be exhausted to travel and work and sing and share but God absolutely shined (shone?) through you and the whole team. Bless you for your availability to Him, for pressing in and being used. You were a huge part of the work God did last weekend at LPL.
WE LOVE YOU - KEEP LIFTING HIM!
