Help Haiti Live

Hey, friends. We are in Winona, MS getting ready for a night of worship tonight at North Winona Baptist Church. We are pumped! But if wasn't going to be there tonight, I would be at home watching Help Haiti Live. Help Haiti Live starts at 7:30pm central, and is a free concert that will be streaming live from the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Please go check it out tonight if you have a chance. Some amazing artists are participating.

It's been six weeks since the earthquake in Haiti. And the needs there are obviously still as cavernous as ever. I am so thankful for the work that so many people are doing for the Haitian people. Not just relief, but rebuilding and restoring. Not all of us are able to hop on a plane and put our feet to the Haitian soil (I wish we could). But there is always something we can do. And I think that there is always room for us to do more. If you have a second, go check out Help Haiti Live, and see some of the ways that we can help. Even our smallest efforts and offerings mean so much.

I am constantly reminding myself that Haiti is not just a big wash of a country somewhere far away, with a mass of countless, faceless people. It's home for millions of 'one's'...individual souls...one after one after one...all needing hope. Like Joseph.

Don't forget - concert streaming live at Help Haiti Live at 7:30pm central tonight.

Just finished reading your "Great Adventure" posts.....Whew!!!!!
God has done a work hasn't He???
How you love Him to walk that obedience line. So often it is much easier to not walk it. Say something like "That isn't God".
I am very excited for your whole family, including the church family. What a blessing to have you as their worship leader.

I must say, as I went from part 1 to part 7 I was "selfishly" concerned about Beth's events. I just love the worship at those events and seeing as how I am attending the one in GR MI in May, I really wanted to hear that you would continue in that realm. Thank you Lord, you are.

Will continue to pray for you and your family as you complete this transition....moving and all....bet you find out just how much "stuff" you have. I did when I moved a few yrs back.

Blessings to you and your family...

I also attended via the tour bus from Hamburg, AR! :) I must say, that was the biggest blessing I have ever received. I enjoyed myself SOOOOOO much. It was awesome! I sang to the top of my lungs, every word...
I asked special prayer requests for my mom and step-father who were in Argentina during the earthquake. I am so happy to say they are home safely and were not affected by the earthquake. Thank you and your fabulous praise team for the prayers. :) And thank you all for what you do, sharing your beautiful voices for our heavenly father.
I am also so overwhelmed with happiness over our sponsorship of our precious one from Peru. Thank you so much for sharing your story about Compassion International. I am spreading the word. God Bless and Prayers to you.
