A-L-I-V-E

I am a bad blogger! Dang! I did it again.

This time, I could hardly even face it. But face it I am. Here I am to say hello and I have missed talking to you guys.

Last week was the whirlwind week to end all whirlwind weeks for me. Atlanta - New Mexico - Gatlinburg, TN - and Washington, DC - in 5 days. And - get this - I got strep throat right in the smack dab middle of the week. Ouch. Big ouch. I lost my voice and everything. But, many prayers, lots of drugs, and a few days later, I am much better. I still have no singing voice, but I am feeling great. I have a few more days before I have to sing, so I think I'm good to go.

I must send a big apology to all the ladies from the Women of Faith in DC, who endured my sqeaky-tired-sick voice. I was so sad to not ba able to sing at that event. But (duh) the Lord moved in such a huge way. Even without my big vibrato-ridden solos. Imagine that.

And move He did - 893 people were saved. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

OK, I am going to break back in slowly...I will share more later. Thanks for your patience with me and my sketchy blogging. Blessings!

TC

Missed hearing from you! However, you are allowed a life outside of the blogging world!!!

Sorry to hear you were so sick. Strep throat as an adult stinks!!!

Take care of that amazing voice of yours, and enjoy the summer with your family!

Trav,
Hang in there and know that us homefolks are praying for you, your ministry, and your family faithfullly!

Vibrato ridden? Don't say that--yours is tighter than mine--so, it can't be too wide....laughing....

Can't wait to talk to you about the house thing...Rae and I are like in awe at God...you can't imagine how he's shown himself mighty! He is soooo good, dude!

Love ya'll!

Welcome back. I've missed you wit and sense of humor.

Glad to see you're on the mend, Travis. Take good care of your throat/voice. I'll be praying for that big old voice to come roaring back with boldness.

So sorry you've been sick! Was praying for all last week while I was at camp - now I understand why. Hey, though, get off the blog, and onto your emails! (how's your new admin?!) :)

Travis,
In my opinion you sounded GREAT in G'burg!!! I am sorry you were sick. It was fun seeing you all even though it was a quick evening. I LOVED the musical. Talk about a worship muscial, this is it!! I am still in awe of the 893 women who came to Christ. With God ALL things are possible. You are not a bad blogger, you are just busy!! I pray that you get to spend a quiet weekend with your family.

Sorry you were sick...I had prayed over the conference. God must have had in mind to use you in your weakness, no?

May He be greatly praised for many new sisters (brothers?) in Christ!

Praying for rest and healing for you and for fun with your family in the mean time (that they won't catch it, too!).
In His Joy,
Holly

Travis,
Glad to see you are back and feeling a bit better. I have had strep so many times now that I have children and it always takes me out!!
I just saw the post of how many women were saved in DC if it were not 11:30 pm I would be giving a very loud praise offering!!
Instead I will just do so very loudly in my heart :)
LOVE IT - God is AWESOME!!
God bless,
Kim

Travis - I was in DC for Women of Faith (my friends and I are Beth Moore fans!). Although I love your singing, find comfort in knowing that your passion and joy for the privilege of what you do (which is always evident) won out over the strep throat that weekend!

Well . . . I was there in DC and thought you did an INCREDIBLE job!!! We never would have known you had strep if you wouldn't have told us! Thank you for sharing your ministry with us! PS . . I've been searching and searching for one of the last songs you sand that day . . .it was a real uplifting/upbeat song . . .do you remember what the name of it was? I think it would be a great Easter song! Thanks!
