Praying for Joseph Wilbens

One of our little Compassion children is from Haiti. This is Joseph Wilbens.




I know you're praying for the people of Haiti, just like we are. Oh Lord, please have mercy.

For I am the LORD, your God,
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.

    Praying. Could not sleep because of the pictures from the television running through my head. Please let us know when you hear from Joseph.

    My 21 yr.old niece is there homeschooling for a missionary family. She is a trained EMT so she chose to stay instead of coming back to the states yesterday. Praying for the people of Haiti to see God's love through this storm....

    My compassion child is also from Haiti. Please pray for her, too.

    I chose a child from Haiti because I also have a friend, Dawn, who worked as a missionary in Haiti for many years. She is a musician and works with children teaching them to sing and play instruments. She was just recently moved by the IMB to the Dominican Republic to help with all the Haitian refugees who have moved across the border. She is safe, but she has lost many friends, including the pastor that she worked with for 17 years. She hopes to go to Haiti on a first responder team but is not sure when. I know it will be hard for her to go back. Please pray for her too.
