  3. Well, I was gonna brag that it was 5 degrees here in North GA. Then I saw that Sarah said it was --40 where she was so I realized that I have nothing to brag about. Anyhoo, it is cold here!!

  4. I see Big Mama has already been over here. I'm surprised she didn't buy the rights to that picture for Fashion Friday!

  6. It's a breezy 20 degrees right now. How cold is it where you are?

    ReplyDelete
  7. It's strange-fur-hat cold in Arkansas, but not use-your-furniture-for-kindling cold like it is wherever Sarah lives!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Are you sure? Have you looked in a mirror?

  9. You don't even want to know how it's been in SoCal for the last 10 days. Let's just say this is the weekend you really want the Crystal Cathedral gig. You could pack shorts. And leave the hat at home.

  10. Um, you have me rolling with your "hat!" I sure hope it has kept you warm.

Currently, my computer is telling me it is 50 degrees. That's cold for Houston!

  13. It's a very very frigid 34 degrees here in northwest Florida. I know - I sound like a total wimp next to all of you negative-temperature people, but we have such thin blood here. I didn't even want to leave the house today!

  14. Are you going to wear that hat at the recording next week? :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. We just finished about 80 hours of BELOW ZERO weather. Now it's 8. Brrr... Your hat looks warm.

  16. Wish I had that hat this week...actual temperature this morning: -12. Wind Chill: -37. Just four hours North of Nashville, my friend. Do tell me where you found your hat. :)

  17. Are you sure you don't have some Canadian blood in you? Eh???

It was zero her last night with a below zero windchill. That's cold for St. Louis. I grew up in Chicago. I should be used to this. I think my southern blogging Siesta's are rubbing off on me, 'cause I'm C-O-L-D!!! I've either got to toughen up or MOVE!!

Love the hat really, however if you ever come to visit me well. . . you might just have to leave the hat behind.

  23. Wow! Did you ever see "A Christmas Story"? Not quite like that, but does remind me. If you start repeating, " I like the Wizard of Oz..." it will be all over. It's 37 right now, with a high of 41. However, it does rain a lot and that makes it worse.
I think I am glad to know you...I don't know, that picture might require some reconsideration on the matter.

  27. After lots of snow on Monday making the morning commute completely insane, Friday ended up sunny and clear with a high in the 50s.

That's weird Colorado weather for you.

And BTW, what a hat! I think we all have clothes like that--bought especially on vacation when totally unprepared for the forecast.

  39. It's about 60 degrees here in Shrevpeort, LA! Cute hat Travis!

  40. I LOVE that hat!!! It reminds me of my brother. He had one just like it and wore it all the time.

Except he was in the 8th grade, and we were in RUSSIA (yes I'm serious, Moscow) on vacation....but we did pay way more than $4.99 for it.

    FREEZIN in ETN.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I thought of you, Travis, when I was at the grocery store this afternoon. There was a tiny baby (3-4 months?) who had a hat on just like that! He looked adorable and it made me chuckle.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well, last week it got down to about 18 degrees...maybe lower. I live in Tupelo, MS. This is the first time I have commented but I keep up with your blog a lot. I attend at least one beth moore conference a year and I absolutely LOVE your music and your voice. God is doing a GREAT work through you!

  43. Sarah must live in my neck of the woods. We had record lows negative 50 with wind chill. Today's high of 18 felt balmy!

    Man, you make me proud!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. It is c-c-c-c-c-cold. The numbers don't even matter. If it gets below about 45 degrees, it might as well be -50 degrees here in South GA. We just aren't used to it. There were people standing in huddles, fully clothed, underneath the big heaters mounted high on the wall in the indoor pool area at our local YMCA today--just trying to get warm. I was one of them. :)

  46. Syracuse, NY - below zero or hovering near zero. We just had some of your friends here at our church to record Robin Mark's new CD. They were freeeeeeezing. Southerners!
