  4. Is this your BIRTHDAY?!?!

    If so, HBD Travis!

(That's how my middle school kids write it to me.)

(Not that I have kids. Sheesh. I mean the ones in my ministry.)

(After all, to have middle school kids, I would have been preggers at age 4.)

    That will be all.

  5. Go Giants! We're getting ready for the game at this very moment!

We're just staying home with the kids and watching, but it was so fun this morning because we were eating breakfast and ALL OF A SUDDEN my husband handed invitations to the kids. All of the invites had money in them and he took them to the store today to go shopping for party food that they could "bring" to the party. They thought that was the best thing ever.
They're smart kids though, they kept the change!

    Enjoy the game!

  6. Hi Travis,

I got a kick out of the Podcast! Can't wait to hear you sing "Grandma's Feather Bed" on your next album! I got a belly laugh from the thought of it. Loved the story of how you met Angela too.

    Blessings,

    Karen H.

  9. Travis I am so excited about Fri. 3:16 live. I hope you know that one of the main reasons I am driving 6 hours and letting my first grader miss 2 days of school is because we love you. Your music touches our hearts everyday . So if you are taking requests please sing In Christ alone. Can't Wait! God Bless!

  10. Well... There it is... Giants went all the way! WHOO-HOOOO! Hope you enjoyed your Superbowl Sunday... I am sure! Podcast was fun, and funny - laughter is a contagious thing. Hope you are having a blessed recovery from the superbowl celebration! Quite a nice Birthday treat - eh? I think a few of my brain cells died over the weekend after re-reading this disjointed post. Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day!

    Blessings

  11. How sweet was that game? We rooted the Giants on as we are from Indiana and thought it be nice if the Manning Brothers could share the love--big brother last year and now it follows that little bro should get his props. How cool is that?

  13. This comment is not at all about the super bowl, so you don't have to post it.... I just had to share.

I just came from my first night of bible study on Stepping Up. I LOVED, LOVED your song you sing on the introductory session. (What a cool thing to have you sing on the videos, by the way). Anyway, I came home and showed my husband. I wanted to run, shout, breakdance, whatever....it was phenomenal!!! Just wanted to share!!!
    Thanks,

  14. That was such an exciting game!!
I held my breath in that play where Eli through the long pass and then the next drive they made a touch down - oh that was so exciting!
I also heard the podcast and laughed my head off!!
I love the part when you said "are they only going to hear laughin gb/c that seems like all we are doing?"
I also love when you said - "uh did someone just drop their mike?"
And then we heard Melanie laughing in the background!
That was so fun and I look forward to the next one. This time I am going to submit a question :)
    Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!
You need to post that strawberry cake recipe - if it is ok with Angela :) yummy!
    Blessings,
    Kim
